What is reverse osmosis?

In reverse osmosis, the membrane is used as an extremely fine filter which filters many dissolved substances from the water. Reverse osmosis is therefore an excellent and inexpensive method of purifying water. The process of osmosis is reversed by forcing water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane (also known as a reverse osmotic membrane), thereby reversing the natural osmotic pressure. The membrane is designed in such a way that small molecules of pure water can pass through, but larger particles or molecules with a chemical composition cannot. The substances dissolved in the water that do not pass through the membrane will be discharged with the wastewater. The pure water that is pressed through the membrane is osmosis water. Thanks to osmosis water you detoxify your body more efficiently and you ensure a better absorption of nutrients into the organism.

The Dahler water dispenser filters the added water (3 litre tank) into a 1 litre intermediate tank. So there is always enough water available. The water is 99% filtered of all foreign substances and is crystal clear. The dahlert has a 1.2 litre waste water tank and an internal hot water tank (stainless steel) of 0.9 litres. The Dispenser filters 250ml per minute.

The drinking water can be obtained from the dispenser in 3 temperatures: Room temperature, lukewarm/hot water of 37-45 degrees and hot water (approx. 85 degrees) for the use of tea, instant coffee or soup.

The drinking water from the Dahlert water filter is first cleaned through 4 very accurate filter layers and then treated with the final filter layer consisting of coconut shells to optimise taste and tolerance. The purity of the water allows tea, coffee, etc. to dissolve better in the water.  The taste also improves.

The filter of the Dahlert lasts approximately 1 year (with normal household use). The device reminds you to replace the filter. 

Drinking water from the dispenser saves up to 3000 PET bottles a year.
